He fell in love, or we can say obsessed with Guinevere Beck and killed everybody who came between them. Beck came to know about the reality which resulted in the killing of Beck by Joe. Season 2 starts with Joe Goldberg moving to a new city, from New York to Los Angeles to evade his past. He started there with a new identity and met chef Love Quinn. We saw him repeating old patterns of love and obsession, and finally, they started their relationship. Initially, Love appeared to sweet and innocent women. But Joe and we became shocked when we came to know about Love’s true face. It was actually her who made Joe follow her and fall in love with her. She further killed Delilah and his ex, Candace. When Joe found out, he tried to kill her. But, Love saved herself by disclosing that she was pregnant with his child. Joe decided to forgive her and the two of them decided to start a new life and raise their child. Joe got what he wanted but was not satisfied. He describes his condition as punishment for bad karma. What does it mean? Will he proceed with actual Joe? Well, the final scene of season 2 says so. Joe found a new neighbor and said- “I will figure out a way, a way to get to you,” Well, Joe is Joe. We can expect him to become a gentleman. It will be thrilling to see what he will do next. This time his psychopath wife is with him.
